Skeleton Key Brewey Bookfair
It's time to go WAY back to school! Relive the best parts of returning to class -- but as an adult: Picture Day, book fairs, and lunch time! Except now you're old enough to drink ;)
This 21+ event gives you a chance at awkward photo redemption -- or you can re-create your oddest poses or invent new ones! We'll have random props available, but you're also welcome to bring your own!
After our photographer captures the perfect angle, dip into the Den, where Swallow Stories Bookshop will be popping up with a heaping helping of must-read books, including a sizeable assortment of "blind date with a book" options for those who like a solid recommendation with a side of surprise :)
Then swing on by the cafeteria (aka the Lounge) to tuck into updated versions of your favorite school lunches, expertly prepared and creatively imagined by Chef Terrell of Dark Horse Grill.
Head to the bar at any time for a recess break with beermosas, juice box cocktails, and more.

M. Kevin Hayden
Come meet M. Kevin Hayden and pick up his debut novel, An Old Soul
“It’s YOUR world.”
A brilliant, heart-breaking, and compulsively readable mystery that tugs on the fabric of reality, and explores what it might mean for humanity if we didn’t have to lose our loved ones…at least not in the way we think.
In 1996 Chicago, twenty-five-year-old Isaac André feels like a stranger in his own life—until the world starts whispering back. The coincidences are too uncanny to ignore, but for now, they’re all happening in his favor.
When he buys his first computer with the money from his VHS rental store job, Isaac enters his first internet chatroom, The Grassy Knoll, dedicated to conspiracy theorists. He wonders:Is anyone else experiencing his shared unease, his constant sense of being watched, a nagging feeling of displacement?
That’s when Isaac (ElectricSheep7) meets the magnetic Noa Gayle (BirdGurl9), a mysterious stranger that shares his love for Terminator movies, Philip K. Dick, and all things sci-fi.
Isaac and Noa’s soul connection feels fated, but as it deepens, so do the secrets between them. Where did she come from? And more importantly, where does she disappear to for weeks on end?
Is he chasing the answers, or are they chasing him?
A spell-binding literary novel, An Old Soul deftly traverses the porous membranes between coincidence and destiny, and dreams and reality, as Isaac and Noa defy the forces of the universe to be together.
An Old Soul is an absolute must-read for fans of Blake Crouch, Kiese Laymon, and Emily St. John Mandel.

On May 18th, our co-owner, Szymon, will be joining riders across the globe in The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health on behalf of Movember.
Men, on average, die six years earlier than women—often due to preventable causes. The number of men struggling with their health, both physically and mentally, continues to rise, and we need to take action.
Before he can press his tweed and polish his boots, we're asking you to join in making a difference. Every donation, big or small, helps support vital research and initiatives to ensure the men we love live healthier, happier lives.
Please consider contributing using the following link. Together, we can help change the face of men’s health.
